Amanda Leslie
Ms. Leslie is a native of North Central West Virginia. Growing up in Fairmont, she developed a love for her home state’s natural beauty and history. She attended Fairmont Senior High School, West Virginia Wesleyan College, West Virginia University, and WVU College of Law. During law school, Ms. Leslie served as president of the Real Estate Law Society and worked part time as a law clerk for a small firm her 3L year.
Ms. Leslie started her career working her way up from a law clerk to an associate for a small plaintiffs’ firm in Fairmont, West Virginia, learning the basics of real estate transactions, estate law, oil and gas title, litigation, and contracts. She then served as counsel for two West Virginia State Senate committees during the 2017 legislative session, Economic Development and Energy, Industry, and Mining. From there, she served as in-house title attorney for a national oil and gas brokerage firm in their Appalachian Basin office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she honed her title skills and lease negotiations. Most recently, Ms. Leslie developed the real estate division at Umina, Davis, Minutelli, & Gutta, in Morgantown where she became an issuing title agent for Old Republic Title.
Her favorite aspect of practicing law has been the different learning experiences each client and project has afforded her.
She has experience in real estate law, oil and gas title law, government relations, legislation drafting, small business formation, and estate law.
Tyler Mason
Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, Mr. Mason grew up in the Teays Valley, West Virginia. He attended Winfield High School, West Virginia University, and WVU College of Law. During law school, Mr. Mason interned with the Federal Public Defenders for the Southern District of West Virginia.
After law school, Mr. Mason interned for West Virginia Legal Aid in Charleston, the Public Defender’s Office in Boone County, and the Public Defender’s Office in Jackson County. He cut his teeth as a criminal defense attorney working as associate at Hughart Law Office, in Sissonville, West Virginia from 2015 to 2021.
He enjoys practicing criminal law because there is never a dull moment.
He has experience in criminal law, family law, child custody law, and personal injury law.
